O Castro Art Village is a rural creative residency in the Ribeira Sacra, Galicia. A working place for artists, filmmakers, writers, researchers, and makers who need time, space, and the right environment to create.
Tucked in an oak forest above the Mino River, you will find comfortable accommodation and shared studio spaces where you can focus fully on your work, or simply slow down and rest.
We welcome both creatives coming to work deeply and, in selected seasons, travellers looking for a quiet stay in one of Spain’s most extraordinary landscapes.
Our Installations
We have created a modern and comfortable place in nature, with a restored barn and geodesic glamping domes surrounded by forest. Here, you can take in sweeping views of the mountains and the Miño River canyons. It is a great spot to unplug, slow down, and enjoy being present.

Yes. They are well-insulated and equipped with heating and cooling systems, keeping them cool in summer and cozy in winter.

We offer two dome experiences:
River View Domes: expansive views over the Miño valley
Forest Domes: shaded, intimate settings beneath oak canopies
Both types offer privacy, comfort, panoramic nature views, and modern amenities.
